Peter's World

"William's Apples"

"After capturing "The Golden Years" & 'Valley Of Gold" of Macetown back in 2011, 11 more years passed before I ventured back up the long rough track, with lots of river crossings thrown in - just to keep things exciting! The easter weekend weather was glorious, so we camped beside this apple tree overnight & awoke to a cold frosty start. It was quite something to witness, watching the sun slowly rise & then all of a sudden, it flood the valley with golden light (watch the time-lapse video below, it takes a little while, but then the sun suddenly tips like a waterfall of light!)

Macetown has achieved a bit of a cult status amongst 4WD enthusiasts & it seems to be on all their bucket lists now, so my advice is to avoid a long public holiday weekend. We had several encounters where we had a paper thin gap to squeeze past other vehicles, not something I'd recommend for the faint hearted!"

“When Peter delivered our pieces, we couldn't believe the incredible detail. The images on his website - impressive as they are - really didn't do our prints justice!“
