"What a place this is! After wanting to get up to the Earnslaw Burn for several years, my hiking buddy Di was keen to tag along & so we set off in May, with a brilliant weather forecast. Canping in her tent for two nights, we were the only ones here & it gave us a chance to really explore the valley. But it was on our way out that I spotted this view, I just had to stop & get the camera out! After standing in the freezing clear water for over an hour, I captured this scene & I left satisfied that I had captured all I could. But my plan is to return again around summer solstice, to try for other views with the summer sun & a wide arc of light to play with. Fingers crossed the weather might play along once again!"
