Peter's World

"Turning Tides"

"After months of planning, my trip to Stewart island in December 2019 came unstuck - it just wouldn't stop raining! Foiled by muddy tracks & parts of the island waist deep in water, we abandoned our plans to hike the southern circuit & hunkered down in this beautiful & remote bay for 4 nights. I visited this river mouth at the far end of the bay at different times each day & subjected myself to the hordes of voracious sandflies, until I captured these dramatic moods one morning (spot the raindrops as it started to rain again!) A fascinating & truly remote place, I'd love to go back - one sunny day!"

“When Peter delivered our pieces, we couldn't believe the incredible detail. The images on his website - impressive as they are - really didn't do our prints justice!“
