Peter's World

"Tokitoki"

“I discovered this ancient pohutukawa in bloom on my last day of being on the Coromandel for New Years, but the weather was starting to cloud over & rain was forecast the next day, damn! So I headed home & watched the weather like a hawk, then took a chance a few days later, leaving home at 3am to be in position for sunrise. Fortunately, the weather was clear at first light & I was able to capture this sight, just before the clouds rolled in thirty minutes later!”

“When Peter delivered our pieces, we couldn't believe the incredible detail. The images on his website - impressive as they are - really didn't do our prints justice!“
