Peter's World

Sunshine & Sky Blue

"These fun kiwi baches are at Seaview Campground in Mokau, North Taranaki & with a view that good, what more do you really need? We stayed in the green cabin a few years earlier, but at that time Mt. Taranaki had been hiding behind heavy cloud. Oozing so much charm in this stunning setting, I knew there was a great image waiting, if only the weather could play along. So on this crisp autumn day as I neared the coast & saw Taranaki in the clear, I grinned. The afternoon light was so beautiful, but as I stood beside the yellow bach ‘Sunshine’, the ground was too low to see the mountain, oh no! Not about to give up that easily, I borrowed the caretaker’s ladder & with that little extra height, Taranaki popped up in the middle between the green & blue cabins. Now that’s what I call Picture Perfect!"
