"Rumbling Creek"

"Travelling through the Haast Pass on a drizzly day, this stunning little creek caught my attention, so I quickly stopped & captured this scene. Several years later I was keen to take another look & I ended up going back & forth three times through the Haast, but I just could not find any trace of it at all, my only explanation is that severe weather may have washed it out? I really don’t know, it remains a mystery to me...

Equipment: 31Mp Phase One DB + Mamiya AFD 645 + 35mm lens
