"Memories Of Summer"

“I first arrived at this scene in the morning, but this pohutukawa & it's flowers were in shadow from the morning sun. So I decided to return in the afternoon, once the sun had moved to the west. And my theory worked perfectly, as the tree was now lit from behind! A classic summer scene, one that I find particularly nostalgic in a white oval frame - what memories of summer are made of."
