Peter's World

"Memories Of Opito"

Part of a new range of pastels which I've created to evoke a nostalgic feeling, with subtle tones & vintage style framing. Available on metallic canvas which is created from an optimal blend of metallic, silver & pearlescent surface finishes to portray exceptional detail. I love it!

"On the same day I captured "Dreaming Of Opito", I first recorded this view of the gents launching their boat with the classic red Massey Ferguson. The early morning sun was rising in the east, so it did not allow for saturated red blooms, blue sky & water - which I later captured in the afternoon (when the sun had moved to the west). But I really enjoy this morning scene, it was a natural choice for my range of metallic pastels, evoking memories of the timeless 50's."

“When Peter delivered our pieces, we couldn't believe the incredible detail. The images on his website - impressive as they are - really didn't do our prints justice!“
